Katrina Kaif's mother is English and father a NRI originally from Kashmir. Katrina Kaif was born in Hong Kong, grew up in Hawaii and London. She has seven sisters. She is currently dating actor Salman Khan. When Katrina Kaif was doing modeling in London, she came to the notice of filmmaker Kaizad Gustad and snapped an important role in his film ‘Boom’. Katrina then decided to take acting as her full-fledged career and shifted her base to Mumbai.

With her gorgeous face and hourglass figure, Katrina was flooded with modeling assignments in Mumbai. However, filmmakers were hesitant to sign her because of her linguistic shortcomings.




Katrina Kaif was even signed for Vikram Bhatt’s ‘Saaya’ but later dropped from the project due to her poor Hindi.
